A message from the Owner
The 2019 season will be an exciting one at Marineland Canada and one we’ll be happy to make some positive announcements about the changes that will be coming to Marineland for this year and beyond. We are bringing in an experienced park operations consultant, with expertise in managing complex facilities like Marineland that are in transition. We are finalizing a partnership with a well respected, accredited, international organization that is dedicated to the welfare and conservation of aquatic species to help Marineland enhance our in park teaching and educational focused programming. For families, we are even adding new rides.
We have a strong record of providing for the welfare of our animals and will continue to prioritize their health and wellbeing as a central focus of our mission. We are proud of the positive impact we’ve had on millions of visitors over the years and the positive contribution Marineland continues to play in inspiring people to care about the animals we share the planet with.
It takes considerable resources to provide for the care and comfort of the animals who call Marineland Canada home. Our dedicated employees are present at Marineland every single day of the year doing what’s best for our animals, even though we’re open to the public for a few short months.
Marineland Canada has and will continue to evolve with the times, inspired by my husband’s evolution of the park that brought us to where we are today.
We are in a transitional phase as Marineland continues a new chapter without my husband’s presence. It is our plan to continue to build on his legacy and ensure Marineland Canada remains relevant going into the future.
We look forward to sharing more with members of the public about our exciting plans for Marineland Canada, and want to ensure your readers rest assured that each and every animal who calls Marineland Canada home is loved, well cared for and their best interests will forever guide our decisions regarding their care.
I continue to be so proud of the hundreds of people from our community that work to make Marineland such a welcoming place for the hundreds of thousands of visitors who visit the Niagara region to spend time with us. That commitment to our employees and the community will not change.
I am confident that Marineland will continue to evolve and flourish into the future.
Mrs. Marie Holer

Due to the inherent risk in any ride, riding may pose a risk of serious injury to any guest with a medical condition and may pose undue risks to pregnant women.
Marineland assumes no responsibility for any injury resulting from or arising from or related to any medical condition known or unknown.
It is your personal responsibility to make yourself aware of any medical condition you may have prior to riding and to seek prior written approval from your doctor before riding any ride. Do not ride any ride without first obtaining written approval to do so.

In case of doubt, please exercise caution and do not ride any rides.
Marineland cares about you and your safety. has the right to refuse access to a ride to anyone we feel cannot safely ride a particular ride. A ride supervisor will review any extraordinary cases and make the final decision.
For reasons of safety, all loose objects and personal belongings (cell phones, etc.) must be safely secured before boarding rides. Purses, backpacks, cameras, beverages or any loose articles cannot be taken on rides. Marineland is not responsible for any loose objects and personal belongings that are not properly secured or for any items that must be left on ride platforms or placed by ride team members on ride platforms for guests. Items can be left with a non-rider or in a rental locker at our Guest Services Centre.
Some ride restraints are not able to accommodate guests of above average size (height or weight). The ride restraints must properly lock in place in order for the guests to ride. Please inquire with ride attendants before boarding if you feel this may be an issue for you.
In fairness to all guests, line jumping is not permitted. Guests are not allowed to save places in line for other family members or friends or leave the line and return to the same place in line for any reason including using the washroom or purchasing a drink. Guests who engage in line jumping will be asked to leave the line and may be ejected from the park without refund.
For safety reasons, amusement rides do not continue to operate when darkness arrives. If you are in line for a ride, as it gets dark, we cannot guarantee that you will get to board that ride.
